From Scanners to Readers

Atos Origin specializes in consulting, systems integration and managed operations. The international IT services company’s annual revenues are EUR 5.5 billion (2007) and it employs 50,000 people in 40 countries.

 

Assessment 

Atos Origin experiences technical problems with its templates. The templates are linked to a document management system and creating a new document requires connecting to the company network. Furthermore, the documents are not in accordance with the corporate identity and the content is lacking in structure.

 

Strategy and approach

After analysing the technical, structural and lay-out problems, Lemento creates templates with a clear design which are fully in conformity with the new corporate identity. The content is restructured according to the rules of information design. Lay-out and content are then integrated in state of the art templates for Word (proposal), Excel (charts) and PowerPoint (schemes). Following the test phase, Lemento introduces the templates to Atos Origin’s personnel through workshops in Dutch, French and English.
